The MPBCCA PTF is excited to announce the fall field trip. This year the students will be visiting Cox Farms in Centerville, VA. We will visit with the farm animals, enjoy a hayride, taste apples and cider, play on rope swings and slides, and each child will be able to pick out a pumpkin to take home.
On the day of the field trip, please be sure that your child:
- Wears his/her PE uniform
- Wears comfortable walking shoes
- Wars a hat if need for sun protection
- Brings lunch/snacks in disposable containers (Brown Bag preferred).
- Packs an extra bottle of water
- Brings an empty plastic bag to carry his/her pumpkin.
If you haven’t already filled out a Cox Farms 2019 Field Trip Permission Form, please download it and return to your child’s teacher as soon as possible.
We still need parent chaperones for the field trip. If you have the time and want to have a great time with the MPBCCA family sign up at: MPBCCA Volunteer Sign Up. Also, you will use this link to sign up for other volunteer events for the school year.
Following our field trip, we will have a school while HARVEST PARTY from 1PM to 4PM in the MPBC Fellowship Hall. The Harvest party will feature:
- Pumpkin Decorating
As well, we will have some delicious treats for everyone.
- Brownie Bites
- Cheese Puffs
- Apple Sundaes
